I just had to share this. I am having fun listening to old songs ... you know, some of them are too old - sang long before I was born. Some bring back memories from when I was 4 or 5 years old. I am having fun listening to the songs.
I am loving Ethiopian music more and more.

Meron.....some vocalists have the power to take me back in time into my childhood. Their musics are nostalgic. Melkamu is one of them.
I think he is somewhere in USA, but don't know his situation. If you know, can you share with us?

Well said. We've been trying to trace some of them including Melkamu in the hopes of getting some words from them. It is not always easy. We started the website just a month ago. It has been encouraging so far. We are looking for more writers ... and people interested in joining us.
That is beside the point. I am glad you are enjoying the songs. The goal is to add more of them every month. We've by far the largest collection of songs, but we intend to get as many albums online as possible.
