WHO IS THE BILDERBERG GROUP ?

The likes of Dr. Berhanu Nega are totally wrong when they talk about "Missed Opportunities" while explaining the run of events in the early 70ies,90ies and in 2005 G.C., obviously as an attempt to shift the blame away from external forces like USA and put it on Ethiopians. Such attempts make those individuals suspicious figures.

a lot of suspicious events.

1. that female Italian journalist that interviewed the Emperor in the mid 1970ies g.c.

2. french papers publishing what so-called soothsayers supposed to have said about the fate of the Emperor

3. the 1971 voting of the United Nations General Assembly on the Resolution 2758 about UN membership of China instead of Taiwan that the west lost thanks to the Emperor's effort in mobilizing the vote of dozens of African countries in favour of China. In an article published as a reaction to the resolution the west is supposed to have threatened to revenge for that humiliating defeat.

4. the Emperor was ousted just after a certain jewish American Herbert W. Armstrong who was founder of "The Worldwide Church of God " and a suspected CIA agent visited him.

5. the Emperor was in conflict with several European colonial powers because of his support for African liberation movements such as in Kenya,Angola and Mozambique.

6. the Emperor may had also contacts with leaders of black American civil rights movement such as Malcolm X.

Quote:
...Herbert Armstrong would occasionally boast that, following his visits with certain heads of state, their governments would mysteriously collapse:

"August 15, a man I knew--President Mujibur Rahman of Bangladesh--was shot and killed in a military coup. Sitting with us, when I visited President Rahman (then Prime Minister but actual head of state), was Khandaker Moshtaque Ahmed, Commerce Minister. Ahmed led the military coup and took over as head of the government.

"August, 1973, I was in Santiago, Chile (South America) to visit President Allende. Three weeks later, he was assassinated--machine gunned in the back--in the very room where I had the conference. Three weeks after I had visited Prime Minister Kittikachorn of Thailand and spoken in Bangkok before an audience which included Doctor Sanya, Rector of the University, a riot of 200,000 students overthrew the military government, and Prime Minister Kittikachorn fled to the United States.

"I had become well acquainted with Emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia. Twice when I visited him in Addis Ababa he placed one of his personal limousines with chauffeur at my disposal for my entire stay. But the military forces took him prisoner and took over the government.

"Last July a bloodless coup overthrew the government of General Yakubu Gowon in Nigeria (Africa)." (Tuit, p. 26)

How could CIA or the USA know years in advance what is going to happen in Ethiopia, like Haile Selassie will be overthrown and repalced by a socialist regime unless the CIA was working toward that goal and already in contact with people like Mengistu ?

An important factor that led Ethiopia to change to the "Communist Bloc" was the invasion of Somalia in 1977 G.C. after former US foreign minister Henry Kissinger,a member of the Bilderberg group, ordered Siad Barre to do so.
At the same time then US president Carter and his national security adviser and member of the Bilderberg group Zbigniew Brzezinski denied to deliver weapons that Ethiopia already paid for.
So Ethiopia had no other choice but to look for alternatives to defend itself and the alternative was the "Communist Bloc".

The Americans could easily predict that development because over one and half decades ago they brought the Cubans in the same situation. Castro asked the Americans to send him weapons. They said no. But the Soviets promised Castro to send him the weapons if in return he accepted their ideology. In the beginning of the "Cuban revolution" Castro and the Cubans did not want to be part of the "Communist Bloc", they wanted a kind of social democratic system that is found in Sweden.
It was the Americans who "forced" the Cubans to join the "Communist Bloc" because they stopped sending weapons.

The same happened in Ethiopia, the Americans wanted that Ethiopia joined the "Communist Bloc", but why ?

Was that because that way they could better fight Ethiopia under the guise of fighting communism ?

That what the USA and its agency the CIA were fighting in Ethiopia in the 1970ies and 80ies G.C. was not "Communism" but Ethiopia is beyond any doubt, not just because the USA picked those anti-Ethiopians like Meles Zenawi to fight the Derg but also because it fought pro-Ethiopia opposition groups like EPDA as we can read below.

Aleme Eshete እንደጻፈ(ች)ው:
THE TREACHEROUS TREATMENT OF EPDA BY THE CIA,
AS TOLD BY COMMODORE TASEW

Shortly before the end of the EPLF-TPLF war against the derg with certainly over 500000 Ethiopians dead if not a million, the CIA was preparing the EPLF-TPLF
for the take over of power in Ethiopia. It is as a chapter of this strategy that the CIA decides to treat treacherously its own creation the EPDA which it had used as an instrument until it was no more useful and had to be thrown away. The story of the
last days of the EPDA in Khartoum is told us by Commodore Tasew who was the President of the EPDA with a determined stand to serve the cause of Ethiopian unity to the end. As such Commodore Tasew was an element to be liquidated by the CIA and its proxy agents the EPLF-TPLF as well as by the loyalist Wing in EPDA in the service of the CIA led by Dereje Deresa. This is how the story was told by Commodore Tasew; yeetiopia andenet teztana tegel, 1998 p.190

Americas anti-Ethiopian unity policy had become clear to us beyond any doubt when the US had started to identify itself closely with the EPLF and TPLF and had decided to hand over power in Ethiopia from the Derg to the EPLFTPLF. It was also then that the CIA had come out openly to block the forces of Ethiopian unity and serve the cause of Ethiopian dismemberment.
This had become clear at the Toronto Conference which was held from Hamle 12 to Hamle 15 (July 1990) with the object of creating a democratic united front of forces committed to Ethiopian unity for the formation of a transitional government to replace the expiring Derg. And as this objective was contrary to the US strategy to replace the derg by EPLF-TPLF those loyal to the CIA had done everything to sabotage and disrupt the Conference before it achieves its objectives. I was one of the persons responsible in organising the Toronto Conference with the objective of achieving o the unity of pro-unity forces and, as President of EPDA,I was preparing to lead the EPDA delegation to Toronto when I was told to go urgently to Khartoum (Sudan) where I was told my service was needed urgently. Replacing me to lead the EPDA delegation to Toronto was assigned Dereje Deressa, EPDA secretary General. It was only upon arrival in Khartoum tht I understood the CIA mischief to avoid my presence at Toronto. At this point CIA was engaged in bringing together forces that will form the entourage of EPLF-TPLF and follow them applauding to the power pedestal in Addis Ababa so as to give them the appearance of popular support while alienating pro-unity forces and individuals.
Regarding the EPDA, which was dependent on the financial support from the United State, was an organisation dedicated to Ethiopian unity and democracy. The founding members of EPDA were selected from adherents of all religions, gender and nationalities (beher). The inclusion of nationalities as criteria shows that EPDAs stand regarding Ethiopian unity was not uniform as the presence of people like Dr. Abrham Demoz committed to TPLF-EPLF would show as Ato Kifle charged. Ato Kifle also challenged the commitment to Ethiopian unity of the Welega group led by Dereje and Hanna committed to the Galla cause.. In fact that was the true cause for the later break up of EPDA and the creation of Ketet. The EPDA founding members were

1.Colonel Alemayehu Asfaw
2.Colonel Solomon Belete
3.Commodore Tasew Desta
4.Shambel Asrat Deferesu
5.Shaleqa Yosef Yazew
6.Ato Dereje Deressa
7.Ato Solomon Deressa
8.Dr. Adem Abdella
9.Ato Yohannes Meshesha
10.Enginee Moges Beruk
11.Sto Dsniel Mesfin
12.Wizero Hanna Yilma
13.Ato Kifle Wedajo
14.Colonel Alemayehu Asfaw
15.Colonel Emru Wonde
16.Colonel Asnake Engeda
17.Colonel Solomon Belete
18.Captain Hassan Seyid
19.Qegnazmach Ardamis Sahle

(Those were the Cold War years of struggle between the US and the Soviet Union .and the CIA had decided to finance the EPDA When it was formed in 1981, not because America cared about the sufferings of the Ethiopian people but to serve its national interests and defeat communism and its rival the Soviet Union in the Horn of Africa. It was well known that the US was financing at the same time the EPLF and TPLF secessionist forces opposed to Ethiopian unity and territorial integrity. Thus American policy in Ethiopia was not only anti-communist but also anti-Ethiopian )
But the division and struggle between pro-unity and anti-unity elements in EPDA becomes futile as the CIA brings all its loyalists to adjust their political programme and now serve Weyane-Shaabia objectives: This was how CIA intended to achieve that objective.
1. the first strategy was to divide the EPDA into two factions those who accept to serve Weyane objectives. In fact this was arranged in advance and the individuals were made to meet Weyane and Shaabia leaders, socialise and befriend with them at the expense of EPDA. Those who were selected to establish friendship with Weyane and Shabia were
1-Hanna Yilma (daughter of Yilma Deressa)
2-Shambel (Captain) Asrat Deferesu who will die poisoned following Weyane entry into Addis Ababa
- Ato Dereje Deressa, although he had no direct contact with Weyane and Shaabia , it was him who coordinated the steps taken by Hanna Deressa and Asrat Deferesu. When I called Dereje Deressa in his sick bed to wish him rapid recovery, the late Dereje admitted his error. But that was after the TPLF and EPLF had entered Addis Ababa and taken power.

- The collaboration with Weyane and Shaabia of the above three characters who were responsible for the propaganda , diplomacy and public relations of EPDA had highly crippled our party.

The greatest harm to EPDA was done by Shambel Asrat who living in Khartoum was responsible for the administration of the Ethiopian unity Radio near Khartoum which EPDA run with CIA financial support. It was Asrat who had arranged with Weyanes representative in Khartoum by the name of Fesseha, to hand over our radio to Weyane to serve for the propagation of its anti-Ethiopia programme.

But what was most shameful and something you would not expect from a power that presents itself as champion of democracy and human rights, was what happened to EPDA members working to run the Ethiopian unity Radio in Khartoum. In order to continue working at the Radio everyone of these EPDA members were required to sign a written commitment renouncing their membership and support to EPDA, in order to continue earning their salary, or leave.

The other step taken by the CIA for the liquidation of EPDA was the reconciliation between EPDA and Ketet Ethiopia which had earlier broken away from EPDA following the litigation between Dereje Deressa and Kilfle Wedajo on who should administer CIAs financial contribution. Kifle Wedajo having lost his case had left EPDA to form what was called Ketet Ethiopia engaged since then on all occasions to destroy EPDA. At this last stage the CIA had manipulated the Dereje and Kifle factions to join hands and form the entourage to bolster TPLF-EPLF march to Addis Ababa and their enthronement in power.

Here you have an overview how things relate in international politics and how enormous the US American influence used to be in the past. .

Quote:
...In 1954, the Bilderberg Group was formed as a secretive global think tank, comprising intellectual, financial, corporate, political, military and media elites from Western Europe and North America, with prominent bankers such as David Rockefeller, as well as European royalty, such as the Dutch royal family, who are the largest shareholders in Royal Dutch Shell, whose CEO attends every meeting. This group of roughly 130 elites meets every year in secret to discuss and debate global affairs, and to set general goals and undertake broad agendas at various meetings. The group was initially formed to promote European integration. The 1956 meeting discussed European integration and a common currency. In fact, the current Chairman of the Bilderberg Group told European media last year that the euro was debated at the Bilderberg Group.

In 1973, David Rockefeller, Chairman and CEO of Chase Manhattan Bank, Chairman of the Council on Foreign Relations and a member of the Steering Committee of the Blderberg Group, formed the Trilateral Commission with CFR academic Zbigniew Brzezinski. That same year, the oil price shocks created a wealth of oil money, which was discussed at that years Bilderberg meeting 5 months prior to the oil shocks, and the money was funneled through western banks, which loaned it to third world nations desperately in need of loans to finance industrialization.

When Jimmy Carter became President in 1977, he appointed over two dozen members of the Trilateral Commission into his cabinet, including himself, and of course, Zbigniew Brzezinski, who was his National Security Adviser. In 1979, Carter appointed David Rockefellers former aide and friend, Paul Volcker, who had held various positions at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the U.S. Treasury Department, and who also happened to be a member of the Trilateral Commission, as Chairman of the Federal Reserve. When another oil shock took place in 1979, Volcker decided to raise interest rates from 2% in the late 70s, to 18% in the early 80s. The effect this had was that the countries of the developing world suddenly had to pay enormous interest on their loans, and in 1982, Mexico announced it could no longer afford to pay its interest, and it defaulted on its debt, which set off the 1980s debt crisis collapsing nations in debt across Latin America, Africa and parts of Asia.

It was the IMF and the World Bank came to the assistance of the Third World with their structural adjustment programs, which forced countries seeking assistance to privatize all state owned industries and resources, devalue their currencies, liberalize their economies, dismantle health, education and social services; ultimately resulting in the re-colonization of the Third World as Western corporations and banks bought all their assets and resources, and ultimately created the conditions of social genocide, with the spread of mass poverty, and the emergence of corrupt national elites who were subservient to the interests of Western elites. The people in these nations would protest, riot and rebel, and the states would clamp down with the police and military.

One point has to be added here regarding the jews and Israel.

7. The jew and Israeli Haggai Erlich said in the sense "had Ethiopia or Emperor Haile Selassie not broken relationship with Israel in 1973 G.C. following an Organization for African Unity resolution Eritrea could not have broken away".
So the jews were also angry with the Emperor because he ended official diplomatic relationship with the jewish state.

ምሰጢር እንደጻፈ(ች)ው:
a lot of suspicious events.

1. that female Italian journalist that interviewed the Emperor in the mid 1970ies g.c.

2. french papers publishing what so-called soothsayers supposed to have said about the fate of the Emperor

3. the 1971 voting of the United Nations General Assembly on the Resolution 2758 about UN membership of China instead of Taiwan that the west lost thanks to the Emperor's effort in mobilizing the vote of dozens of African countries in favour of China.

The list of participants of this year's Bilderberg Conference seems to be not quite accurate according to the youtube video below.

Bill Gates is not on the list, as is not Henry Kissinger, believed to be one of the key figures responsible for the troubles of the last 40 years or so in Ethiopia, and who was probably involved in the plot against the Emperor.

The quotes below show you that former US foreign minister and national security adviser under Nixon Henry Kissinger was part of a larger conspiracy against Ethiopia involving also the status of Djibouti that was supposed to be given back to Ethiopia by France in 1977 G.C..

Quote:
...Two days after the Ethiopian delegation returned to its country, Henry Kissinger, a former Nixon Secretary of State, turned up to Mogadishu. Kissinger was representing an unofficial organization: the Safari Club that was among others including Shah s Iran, Mobutu s Congo, Saudi Arabia, Morocco and French and Pakistani intelligence services. The objective of that organization was to fight against the Soviet infiltration in the Gulf and in Africa. Under the Safari Club pressures and help promises, Siad Barre committed a disastrous strategic mistake of attacking Ethiopia.

Quote:
...Organized with the blessing of Henry Kissinger, U.S. Secretary of State for the Nixon and Ford administrations, the Safari Club was the brainchild of French spy chief Comte Claude Alexandre de Marenches and consisted of France, Egypt, Iran, Morocco and Saudi Arabia. Information about the group came to light after the 1979 Iranian revolution exposed previously secret documents of the former Iranian regime's Foreign Ministry.

The Economist magazine from London, described in the youtube video as the spokesman for the insiders or the Bilderberg Group, is represented in this conference and is known as the promoter of Meles Zenawi.

Additional information.

Why were the jews or the Israelis angry with the Emperor, because although he broke OFFICIAL diplomatic relations with the jewish state following the OAU resolution it was said that the two countries continued to have relations secretly ?

The reason why the Israelis were angry was supposed to be the loss of their embassy in Addis Abeba, being the seat of the OAU and other international organizations, that was an important, maybe the most important, center of espionage for Israel in Africa.

With OFFICIAL diplomatic relations broken they were unable to keep the embassy and continue with their espionage.

Today an embassy in Addis Abeba is valuable to countries like Serbia in their fight against the recognition of Kosovo.

This story from France what so-called soothsayers supposed to have said was of course invented by DGSE,the french foreign spy agency, in reference to,to mock at and as a revenge to the Emperor's prophetic speech to "the League of Nations" in Geneva in 1936 G.C.:
"God and History will remember your judgment".
"The match has been lit in Ethiopia, but the fire will burn Europe."
